Effective date: July 25, 2023
When using our Website, you must be aware that we may share revenue with the introducers of female users. This arrangement might lead to an increased risk of incentivized communication and impersonation.
Please carefully read this Risks Notice, as it could influence your decision to utilize the Services offered on our Website.
- Female Trusted Users:
To facilitate the provision of our Services through the Website, we collaborate with local independent service providers (referred to as 'Suppliers'). These Suppliers are individuals or entities that assist single women seeking romantic relationships. Due to this cooperation, we might be interested in partnering with them and requesting referrals of such women for registration on our Website
Among other responsibilities, the Suppliers perform the following functions:
- - Introducers: They refer female members as "Trusted Users" for registration on our Website.
- - Information Providers: They furnish all the relevant information and materials about the confirmed Trusted Users, including personal details, photographs, videos, and a copy of the Trusted Users' identification document.
- - Paperwork Collection: The Suppliers collect the necessary paperwork from Trusted Users, which may include consents for personal meetings or the disclosure of personal contact details.
If you are interested in verifying whether a specific member is a Trusted User, please feel free to contact us at support@liveespace.com. We'll be glad to assist you.
- Revenue Sharing:
It is a common practice for Suppliers to expect payment in the form of fees linked to the amounts you spend while communicating with Trusted Users referred by them ('Revenue Sharing').
Competitive Considerations:
In order to remain competitive, we may also engage in Revenue Sharing with our Suppliers, similar to many, if not all, of our competitors who work with local female members' introducers.
Profile-Linked Fees:
This means that the Supplier who referred a specific Trusted User to us may receive a share of the money you spend on our Website while interacting with that Trusted User, as well as any other expenses related to that Trusted User ('Profile-Linked Fees').
Increased Risks:
It's important to understand that Profile-Linked Revenue Sharing can elevate the risks of incentivized communication, impersonation, or other potentially misleading actions.
Acceptance of Risks:
By continuing to use our Service, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Consequently, we will not be held responsible to you in case any of these risks become a reality.
If you have any further inquiries or concerns about Revenue Sharing and its potential implications, please feel free to reach out to us for clarification. Your understanding of these risks is crucial to using our Service responsibly.
- Stimulated Communication and Impersonation
Due to Revenue Sharing with Suppliers, there is a possibility that they may try to increase your spending on our Website concerning specific members, ultimately leading to an increase in their Profile-Linked Fees. Here's how this could occur:
Stimulated Communication:
Suppliers may share their Profile-Linked Fees with Trusted Users with whom you are communicating. This could result in a situation where a Trusted User communicates with you because she is financially compensated for doing so ('Incentivized Communication').
Impersonation:
Suppliers might instruct translators or other employees to communicate with you on behalf of Trusted Users without the participation or knowledge of those Trusted Users. This communication may occur without disclosing that the person you are interacting with is not the actual Trusted User ('Impersonation').
Potential Risks:
In essence, this means that there is a risk on the Website, as well as on the websites of many competitors, that you could be communicating with someone who has a direct or indirect interest in increasing your spending on the website. Additionally, there is a risk of interacting with a person different from the one shown on their profile, possibly even of a different gender.
Our Efforts:
We are actively working to limit the risk of our Suppliers engaging in these practices. Nevertheless, it is essential to acknowledge that these risks exist.
User Responsibility:
Please be aware that we will not be held responsible for any of these practices that may occur during your use of the Services. By using the Services, you agree to the possibility of encountering Incentivized Communication and Impersonation scenarios.
If you have any concerns or require further information regarding this matter, please feel free to contact us. Your understanding of these risks is important in making informed decisions while using our Services.
- Translators and Gender Differences:
On the Website, members may utilize the services of translators to help bridge language barriers in their communication with other members. In some instances, a translator could be involved in writing and sending messages and other communications on behalf of a member.
Gender Variations:
It's essential to understand that the gender of the translator may not necessarily match the gender of the member they are assisting. For example, a female member might choose to have a male translator communicate with you on her behalf, or vice versa.
This situation is worth noting to ensure that you are aware that communication may involve a translator and that their gender might differ from that of the member they are assisting. If you have any questions or concerns regarding translator involvement or any other aspect of the service, please don't hesitate to contact us. We strive to provide transparency and a seamless experience for our users.
Furthermore, Trusted Users may also utilize the translation services provided by the Suppliers who referred them. As a portion of the money you spend on the Website might be shared with the Suppliers who introduced these Trusted Users (as part of Revenue Sharing), these Suppliers could potentially encourage their staff translators and/or Trusted Users to communicate with you in a manner that could lead to increased spending on the Website.
Although we are actively working to minimize the risk of our Suppliers' translators communicating on behalf of (or impersonating) Trusted Users without proper disclosure to you, we cannot be held responsible if such practices occur during your use of the Services.
